Welcome. I’m Erica.

You’ve made it here, so please know - you’re not alone, and I am here to help. We’re in this together.

I have extensive experience working with couples at all stages including premarital therapy, marital therapy, divorce contemplation, parenting challenges, and empty nesters. I hold a clinical fellowship from the Training Institute for Mental Health in Couples Therapy. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and have worked as a couples therapist for several years in different practice settings across New York City, Connecticut, and Westchester. Coming from a previous corporate career and being a mom of two, I bring a unique understanding of the challenges that come with the demands of modern life and the struggle to nurture your relationship in it’s midst. With a deep-rooted passion for helping others cultivate self-compassion and lasting empathy, I work with you as your partner to help you become the agent of change in your own life.

I specialize in couples and individual therapy, with a focus on Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy and psychodynamic work. With couples, I work with you and your partner to identity negative cycles, your contributions to the patterns, and what each of you need to feel safe and secure in the relationship again. Some of my more niche specialties when working with individuals include CBT for insomnia, prenatal and postpartum transitions, and career dissatisfaction / career change.
